WHAT are community ORCHESTRA workshops?

The String Essence Orchestra is a level one and two community workshop, open to all ages. Violin, viola, cello, bass and piano are all welcome! Athena teaches students what it is like to be in an orchestra, practice techniques, understanding roles of the orchestra, how the music tells a story through music history, and so much more!

The SEO is a judgment free, no pressure fun zone! Repertoire suggestions are highly encouraged, so please feel free to bring music to share with the group- it’s all about the music that YOU want to play!
